…along enchanting trails that will take you to our mountain hut at the foot pf the Odles mountains in Val di Funes
Many are the trails that lead to Malga Geisler but they all share one thing: the majestic scenery of the Funes Alpine mountains, the spectacular scenario of the Dolomites, the healthy air, peacefulness and natural landscapes all around.
Excursion 1 – From the parking lot in Zannes, along the Adolf-Munkel trail that leads to Malga Geisler
Description:
The most fascinating excursion to Malga Geisler starts in the Zannes parking lot and proceeds along the No. 6 hay trail in the direction of Ciancenon (San Zeno). From there, the itinerary crosses the bridge to the right and continues on the panoramic Adolf-Munkel trail up to the fork for Malga Geisler, just 15 minutes further along the way.
Excursion 2 - From the parking lot in Zannes, along the forest road to Malga Geisler
Description:
On the right hand from the Zannes parking over the forest road in direction to St. Magdalena / Malga Dusler. At the beginning, the road goes down - follow the road to the Malga Geisler / Aldolf Munkel crossing. Than you can follow the signs to Malga Geisler. The trail mostly follows a forest road that is closed to vehicular traffic and that is suitable for pushchairs too.
Excursion 3 – From the parking lot in Ranui to Malga Geisler
Description:
From the Ranui parking lot, follow the signpost No. 28 in the direction of the Adolf-Munkel trail, towards the Odle peaks. At the fork, turn left onto the Adolf-Munkel trail and follow it all the way to the Casnago meadow, then cross the meadow. Our hut stands slightly downhill from Malga Casnago.
Excursion 4 – From the parking lot in Ranui along the forest road that leads to Malga Geisler
Description:
From the Ranui parking lot, follow the signpost No. 28 in the direction of the Adolf-Munkel trail, keeping track of the indications for Malga Geisler. The trail mostly follows a forest road that is closed to vehicular traffic and that is suitable for pushchairs too.
Excursion 5 - From Resciesa to Malga Geisler
Description:
Starting out from the nearby Val Gardena, take the chairlift that goes up to Malga Resciesa (the ride is free with the Dolomitimobilcard). From Malga Resciesa proceed along the Alta Via No. 35 towards Malga Brogles, and along the way you will reach Malga Geisler.
